Privacy Policy — Rakord Studio Automation
Last updated: 18 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the application Rakord Studio Automation (the "Application") accesses, uses, stores and shares data obtained from Google APIs, including YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API.
The Application is operated by Petr Fadeev, sole proprietor, trading as the video production studio "Rakord" (the "Operator"), contact email p.fadeev@rakord.ru.
The Application is an internal tool of the studio. Its users are the studio's staff and the owners of YouTube channels that have a channel-management contract with the studio. A description of the Application is available on the Rakord Studio Automation page.
1. Google user data the Application accesses
Access is granted by the channel owner through the standard Google OAuth consent flow. The Application requests the following scopes and uses them only as described:
youtube.readonly — reads the list of the channel's videos and their public
metadata (title, description, publication date, view count). Used to generate reports and to
analyse content performance.
youtube.upload — uploads finished video files produced by the studio to the
channel and sets video thumbnails.
youtube — updates the description and metadata of videos already published on
the channel, and publishes replies to viewers' comments on behalf of the channel. Reading
comment threads is also performed with this scope.
yt-analytics.readonly — reads YouTube Analytics metrics: views, watch time,
audience retention, subscriber changes. Used for weekly and monthly reports.
yt-analytics-monetary.readonly — reads estimated channel revenue. Used solely
to include the revenue figure in the monthly report delivered to the channel owner.
The Application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service.
2. How the data is used
Google user data is used exclusively to provide the functions requested by the channel owner: publishing and updating videos, managing comments, and producing analytics reports for that same channel owner.
The data is not used for advertising, is not sold or rented to anyone, is not used to build advertising profiles, and is not used to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
3. Where the data is stored
The Application runs on a dedicated server rented by the Operator and located in Helsinki, Finland. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form in the Application's database on that server and are not transmitted anywhere else.
Access to the server is restricted to the Operator and protected by SSH key authentication. All connections to the Application use HTTPS.
4. Third-party services
To provide its functions, the Application transfers a limited amount of data to the following service providers. Each of them processes the data solely on behalf of the Operator:
Notion (Notion Labs, Inc.) — analytics reports are compiled and stored in the
studio's private Notion workspace: video titles and links, view counts, retention, subscriber
dynamics and revenue figures. Access to the workspace is limited to the studio's team and the
relevant client.
Anthropic (Anthropic PBC) — the text of viewers' comments and video
descriptions may be processed by the Claude language model in order to draft reply suggestions
and content summaries. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its
models.
Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC) — short service notifications are sent to the
studio's private team channel, for example "video published" or "report ready". Notifications
may contain a video title and a link to it.
Beyond the providers listed above, Google user data is not disclosed to any third party, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.
5. Limited Use disclosure
Rakord Studio Automation's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Data retention and deletion
Analytics data is retained for as long as the studio provides services to the channel owner, in order to show performance dynamics over time.
The channel owner may revoke the Application's access at any time on the Google Third-party apps with account access page. Once access is revoked, the Application immediately loses the ability to access the channel's data.
To request deletion of previously collected data, write to p.fadeev@rakord.ru. Such data, including stored tokens, is deleted within 30 days of the request.
7. Changes to this Policy
If this Policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised.
