What the system does

The studio produces videos for its clients and, under a channel-management contract, publishes them to the clients' YouTube channels and reports on how they perform. These are the five jobs the system does automatically.

Publishes videos to YouTube

A finished video, once approved by the client, is uploaded to the client's channel together with its thumbnail, title and description. No manual upload of multi-gigabyte files.

Updates published videos

After publishing, the system adjusts the description — adding timestamps, corrected links or sponsor information when the edit is refined.

Handles comments

The system collects comments left under the channel's videos and publishes the studio's approved replies on behalf of the channel.

Builds analytics reports

Every week and every month it collects views, watch time, retention, subscriber dynamics and revenue, and compiles a report for the client.

Analyses content trends

It reviews publicly available videos in the channel's topic area so the team can see which formats perform and plan content accordingly.

How it works

The channel owner grants access

Through the official Google OAuth consent screen the owner approves exactly the permissions listed below. Access can be revoked at any moment.

The system does the routine

Uploads approved videos, keeps descriptions up to date, collects comments and publishes replies.

The owner receives reports

Weekly and monthly reports on channel performance, including revenue, delivered to the channel owner.

Access to YouTube data

Only the permissions that the corresponding feature cannot work without are requested. Each one is listed here with the exact reason it is needed.

How data is handled

Runs on our own server

The system operates on a dedicated server in Helsinki, Finland. Access tokens are stored encrypted and never leave it.

Never sold, never advertised

Data is not sold, not shared with advertising networks and not used to train generalised AI models.

Revocable at any time

The channel owner can withdraw access in their Google Account settings, and the system immediately loses access.

Who uses the application

Rakord Studio Automation is an in-house tool of Rakord studio. Access is granted only to the studio's staff and to the owners of YouTube channels that have a channel-management contract with the studio. It is not a public consumer service and is not distributed through any app store.
